Whitebark Pines are in peril at Crater Lake National Park
The oldest trees on the planet live in the White Mountains of California. It’s a sacred place for me – walking here is like stepping back in time, half way to the end of the ice age when some of these trees began growing. My paintings are in and around the visitor center there – and here on a puzzle commissioned by Crater Lake Institute. Larry Eifert
