The Little Valley at Muir Woods
So close to San Francisco and the suburbs of Marin, yet so distant when you meander the trails at sunset! That's my memory of Muir Woods - a peaceful place in the middle of human chaos.
About a million people a year walk the main loop trail, where I'm proud to say nine of my paintings reside as wayside exhibits. That's a lot of eyes looking at trees and art, together as if in a gallery. A one-man show in a giant natural cathedral - art telling people about the wonders of this place.
An artist can't ask for better.
