Little Bird - Big Woods
Most of my life has been spent where these small birds live - in deep forests of the Pacific Northwest. The reddish colors match the forest duff they hang out on, in, around, flitting from branch to branch gleaning insects. The biggish head makes them actually look smaller than they really are, sort of a dwarfish characteristic. They're favorites because, where these guys hang out, I hang out too.
